Kathleen is career driven woman who gets snowed in with the daughter of the man she's dating, Lucy, and an older man who rescued her from some hoodlums, who misses his bus to see his family, and she finally takes him home to stay with her. It is a delightful story about the heroine finding herself again through the two people she's snowed in with and forgiving herself for thinking she was responsible, as most children do, for her father leaving when she was young.
Sounds cliche' doesn't it? However, and the twists come with Lucy acting as a therapist to help Kathleen face her past, and discovering the rescued man, Sam, was actually her dead father.
Whoa! Wait a minute! Sam was dead?
Yep.
Hmmm. It is interesting to note that this film has been well received and widely watched world wide, yet no one seems to realize that 'A Christmas Snow' is actually a Christian paranormal. How? Sam was a ghost - a necessary element in the genre.
Yet, Christian publishers are shying away from the genre when it has already been shown how to successfully use a ghost in a story about forgiveness and moving on with one's life.
With the success of this film, the paranormal genre needs to be rethought, although not used as it is in the secular market. Or perhaps it should in order to open doors for witnessing to unbelievers.
A series to aid the Bible learner in discovering deeper truths in the God's Word and giving them tools to do so. Also, later in the series, demonstrations on how to ask the 'hard' questions and how to use the tools to uncover them. Will from time to time waiver from study to add reviews of films, books, authors, etc. that push the traditional view of Christianity.

'Why Not Question' : 'It's Supernatural' with Sid Roth
There's a TV show that has been on the air for a number of years called 'It's Supernatural' hosted by Sid Roth. What is amazing about it is that they confirm everything a guest says by making phone calls to those they helped or some other method. This in and of itself gives credence to the amazing miraculous events of God that are happening every day.
For instance:
Imagine following Biblical principles that allow you to get out of debt and stay out of debt for the rest of your life, including paying cash for a new car, a new home, or any other expense.
Does God still raise people from the dead today? They do according to a gentlemen in Africa and a born again ex-Muslim.
People are growing new bones in their legs, getting out of wheel chairs and dancing - wouldn't that be something to see!
These are just a few examples of the Supernatural things God is doing not just in places like Africa, but right here in the United States!
'It's Supernatural' is shown on several Christian networks. Tune in and discover what it's like to naturally in the supernatural.

'Why Not Question' - Book Review : '90 Minutes in Heaven' by Don Piper w/Cecil Murphy
'90 Minutes in Heaven' is a compelling story telling of the death of Don Piper on the fateful day of January 18, 1989. He died in a car accident and was declared dead on the scene. A Baptist preacher showed up, asked to allowed to pray for the dead one, and despite the 'you've got to be kidding' looks from the EMT's, followed God's instructions. As the pastor said he prayed in a manner he had never before done and hasn't since.
Don Piper returned to life. Much to everyone's shock.
The rest of the book tells of his experiences and the long, slow recovery process. However, he does briefly share what heaven was like. Most of what he remembers is praise music and moving to the gates with those who had come to escort him there. Don Piper says there are no human words to describe what he experienced.
An excellent read but somewhat disappointing due to the lack of description of Heaven as the title promises. However, it does show the healing power of God and how by following revelation in the instance of raising Don from the dead, miraculous things can still happen today. They're not all confined to New Testament days and 'over and done with' as many are taught in churches today.
