Why Not Question: An A Bomb explodes in the Middle East?

In Revelation 15:2a KJV, there is a description of what many speculate the detonation of an A Bomb in the Middle East. It says - 'And I saw as if were a sea of glass mingled with fire:'

It is commonly known that sand turns to glass when exposed to high temperatures and heat. Such can be seen at the Sand Dunes in southern Colorado where lightening has struck the top and left scorched glass like patches.

If an A bomb were exploded in the desert, one would assume the result would be the same - a sea of glass caused by the explosion of fire.

However, it is interesting to note that this will NOT happen until the Anti-Christ is in power because of the rest of the verse says this - 'and them that have gotten victory over the beast (anti christ), and over this image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.'
